How does my passport get to you?
We arrange or explain a secure tracked international courier service for you to send your existing passport and required documents to our UK office. This is included in the service.
How will my new passport be returned to me?
Once your new passport is issued, we send it back to your overseas address using a secure tracked international courier. Return courier is included in the price.
Can you help if my passport has been lost or stolen?
Yes. Our International Lost / Stolen / Damaged service (£799 all-inclusive) covers adults abroad who need to replace a lost or stolen UK passport. Timings are typically within 3 weeks.
Can you help with a damaged passport?
Yes. Damaged passports fall under the same Lost / Stolen / Damaged service (£799 all-inclusive). You'll need to keep the damaged passport and send it in — HMPO requires the physical passport for the replacement application.
Can you renew a child's passport from abroad?
Yes. Our Child Renewal service (£699 all-inclusive) covers children abroad who already have an existing UK passport that needs renewing. First child passports fall under complex cases — contact us for an assessment.

No. "As soon as 14 days" is an estimate for eligible adult renewals. Actual timings depend on HM Passport Office requirements, identity checks, supporting documents and international courier transit times.
What happens if HM Passport Office asks for additional documents?
We'll let you know immediately and guide you through supplying whatever HMPO needs. Additional evidence requests can extend the overall timeline.
Can I travel while my passport is being renewed?
No — your current passport is with us and then with HM Passport Office throughout the process. Please plan around this before sending documents.
Do I need somebody to confirm my identity?
For some applications HM Passport Office may ask for someone to confirm your identity online. We'll let you know if this applies to your case once we've reviewed your details, and we'll explain the simple process.
What happens to my old passport?
HM Passport Office will normally cancel and return your previous passport, although it may be sent separately from the new one depending on the application. Both come back to you via the secure international courier return.
