What Isn't Covered
Our guarantee covers errors on our part. There are a small number of situations where a refund would not apply — we believe in being transparent about this.
Rejections caused by information you provided to us that was incorrect or incomplete — for example, providing a photo that did not meet HMPO requirements after we had advised you of the specification.
Rejections caused by changes to HMPO policy or requirements that occurred after your application was submitted and could not have been anticipated.
The HM Passport Office fee (£178 for adults, £145 for children, £222 for 2-Day Premium) — this is paid directly to HMPO and is non-refundable by us in any circumstance. Our service fee is what the guarantee applies to.
Situations where you chose not to follow our guidance on documents or photos and this contributed to a rejection.
How to Request a Refund

Provide us with the rejection notice from HM Passport Office so we can understand the reason for rejection and confirm it falls under our guarantee.
Once confirmed, we will process your full refund of our service fee promptly — no lengthy process, no dispute, no delay.
Guarantee Questions
Does the guarantee cover the HMPO fee as well as your service fee?
Our guarantee covers our service fee in full. The HM Passport Office fee (paid directly to HMPO) is unfortunately non-refundable by us — this is paid to the government and is outside our control. However, in cases where the rejection is clearly our error, we will do everything we can to assist you in resubmitting at no additional service charge.
How quickly will I receive my refund?
Once we have confirmed the rejection falls under our guarantee, we process refunds promptly — typically within 3-5 working days to your original payment method.
What if I disagree with your assessment of why the application was rejected?
We always approach these situations fairly and transparently. If there is a genuine dispute, we will review all the documentation together and work to reach a fair resolution. We would rather resolve any issue quickly and fairly than leave a customer unhappy.
