Missed Your Passport Appointment? Here’s What To Do

Missed Your Passport Appointment? Here’s What To Do

If you’ve missed your UK passport appointment — whether due to traffic, illness, or a simple mix-up — you’re not alone. But don’t panic. Here’s exactly what happens next and how we can help you fix it fast.

Can You Rebook a Missed Passport Appointment?

Yes — but not instantly.

Once you miss an HM Passport Office (HMPO) appointment, the system does not allow you to rebook right away. You’ll need to wait until:

  • Your missed appointment has cleared from the system, usually by midnight that day
  • Then, you’ll be able to book a new appointment manually via the gov.uk site

👉 Important: The original HMPO fee (e.g. £222 for the Premium service) is not refunded if you miss the appointment.

How NextDay Passport Can Help

We’ve helped hundreds of customers who’ve missed appointments and need to get back on track urgently. Here’s how we make it stress-free:

  • We rebook your appointment as soon as slots open
  • We attend on your behalf, saving you time and stress
  • We wait 4 hours for your passport to be printed and ready
  • We can deliver it directly to you the same day (optional)

This means you don’t have to take another day off work, travel to a passport office, or risk another delay.

What You’ll Need to Get Started

To get moving today, you’ll need:

  • Your old passport (even if expired)
  • A recent passport photo (digital or physical)
  • A signed consent letter (we provide a template)
  • Your personal details (name, address, DOB, etc.)

We take care of the rest.
