What the company does
Next Day Passport is a private UK passport concierge service. When someone needs a British passport urgently, we book an appointment at an HM Passport Office, complete the application, and attend that appointment in person on the customer's behalf as their authorised representative, so the customer does not have to travel or queue. We then get the new passport back to them.
We are not part of HM Passport Office and not affiliated with the UK government. Anyone can apply directly to HM Passport Office themselves at gov.uk/get-a-passport-urgently and pay only the government fee. Our fee is for attending and handling the process for you.

Prices are all-in and include the HM Passport Office fee. There are no other charges.
Timescales, stated honestly
- 2-Day Premium: HM Passport Office allow these appointments to be booked up to two working days ahead. The passport is printed roughly four hours after the appointment; we collect it the same day and return it by Royal Mail Special Delivery or by hand.
- 7-Day Fast Track: HM Passport Office post the passport directly to the customer. It can take up to seven days, though it often arrives sooner.
- Both depend on HM Passport Office appointment availability, which varies by office and day.
Who is eligible
- 2-Day Premium: adult (16+) renewals of a full British passport issued after 1994. Not available for lost, stolen or damaged passports, first passports, or children — HM Passport Office do not permit it for those.
- 7-Day Fast Track: adult renewals, lost, stolen or damaged passports, name changes, child renewals and first child passports.
- Lost or stolen applications additionally require someone to confirm the applicant's identity online — a current UK or Irish passport holder who has known them for at least two years and is not related to them or living at the same address (GOV.UK rules).
- Child applications need a signed consent letter from a parent or guardian; where both parents have parental responsibility, both sign.
- We cannot help with: applications from outside the UK that require a British consulate, emergency travel documents, visas, or non-British passports.
How it works
- The customer checks eligibility and applies online at nextdaypassport.co.uk.
- They send us their documents — a digital photo or photo-booth code, and a scan of their current passport — through a private upload link. Renewals also post us the physical passport, which HM Passport Office require at the appointment.
- We book the appointment and confirm the date, office and reference.
- We attend the appointment as the customer's representative.
- The passport is returned: collected and posted by us on the 2-Day service, or posted directly by HM Passport Office on the 7-Day service.

Questions people actually ask
Can I get a UK passport in one day?
Almost, but not from a standing start. HM Passport Office's fastest service is 1 Day Premium: the passport is ready about four hours after your appointment, so it is same-day from the appointment. The appointment itself is normally bookable within two working days, which is why we describe it as a 2-Day service — two days is the realistic end-to-end time, not four hours. It is available for adult renewals only: not first passports, not children, and not lost, stolen or damaged passports, which all have to go through the 1 Week Fast Track service.
Is it cheaper to do it myself?
Yes — you pay only the HM Passport Office fee (£239.50 or £192) if you book and attend yourself. Our fee covers doing it for you: securing the appointment, completing the application correctly, and travelling to the office in your place. If you have time to attend yourself, you should.
Do I still need to go to the passport office?
No. That is the point of the service — we attend as your authorised representative. You do need to get your current passport to us for renewals.
What if there are no appointments before my flight?
We check HM Passport Office availability continuously and will tell you honestly before you pay if the dates do not work. We would rather turn the job away than take money for something that cannot be delivered in time.
